Wholesale Racking

Solar Xpress Racking is fully compliant with all relevant Australian Standards and Building codes and is designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia. All Solar Photovoltaic racking sold in Australia must comply with Australian Standard AS1170.2. This Standard ensures that solar racking is safe to use in Australian conditions where we experience differing wind loads to the rest of the world. Ensure your supplier or retailer's racking is compliant.

The Solar Xpress Racking we use and wholesale throughout Australia meets and exceeds Australian Standard AS1170.2. It is engineered to be installed in cyclonic areas on residential or commercial structures. It may be tilted to a maximum of 600mm without cross bracing. The maximum tilt with cross bracing is 1300mm. The racking can also be used in ground mounted systems throughout the same regions.

This innovative supporting system not only simplifies the process of installing Solar Panels, but also reduces installation times and saves installation costs. All aluminium components are anodised alloy and all fasteners are stainless steel. It also saves time on installation and has been designed by an installer who understands what the industry requirements are.

Care must be taken when purchasing racking at both a wholesale or retail level. Solar racking must comply with Australian Standard AS1170.2 and meets this standard in the state, region or zone that it intended to be used in. Some racking currently being sold by other companies only meets the bare minimum requirement of AS1170.2 and is limited to be installed only in certain small areas of the country.

Other racking being sold may not have engineering specifications for Australia. This means that it does not comply with Australian Standards although it may comply with standards in other countries. Some of the cheaper brands we have seen have no engineering specifications at all and do not comply with Australian Standards. An installation that is done with this racking may require a full re-install using compliant racking at a later date.
